Steven Powers, VP Sales & Agent Development

Since purchasing his first home at the age of 20, Steven realized the importance of investing in real estate and decided to pursue his passion for sales after returning from an active duty deployment to Afghanistan in 2009.

Steven’s extensive experience in building custom homes helps him to identify and target properties that make sound investments. His talent to visualize cosmetic changes, room rearrangements, and design upgrades allows him to help his clients see what their home can become.

Having joined the Army in September of 2002, Steven dedicated himself to his fellow comrades and his country. Steven’s leadership and discipline were recognized while serving in Afghanistan where he received a field-grade promotion to sergeant. His commitment to the military has carried over to his client’s needs. He encourages an open line of communication so that the client’s experience is rewarding, informative, and pleasant.

Scott Powers, Advisor

The uniqueness of Scott lies within his hustle. As a new agent in the city, Scott is proving to be a quick learner and motivated individual that is ready to prove why he has found so much success prior to Real Estate.

Growing up in a family of nine outside of Chicago, Scott learned the importance of hard work and dedication to a craft. A baseball scholarship to Parkland College gave an opportunity to contribute to a NJCAA National Championship in 2009. He gained even more experience in baseball with Northern Illinois University as he pursued a Bachelors in Rehabilitative Services. Scott was later hired by the White Sox where he helped develop The Athletic Pitcher program. Although his expertise was in the Art and Science of Pitching, Scott also coordinated Strength and Conditioning camps for athletes looking to pursue a career in baseball.

Fast forward to 2015, Scott began a career in the United States Navy where he qualified and attended BUD/s training in Coronado, California. Scott also attended and completed EOD Dive School in Panama City Beach, Florida and continued through to EOD School at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. His contract in the Navy ended October 2020 on the East Coast where Scott spent time training with multiple Aircraft Carrier Commands including The Dwight D. Eisenhower CVN 69 and The George Washington CVN 73.

Nathan Cowan, Advisor

Nathan has worked in all aspects of the restaurant industry from chef to Sommelier to manager. Working in the restaurant industry has taught him how to deal with the most demanding of customers and still deliver a memorable dining experience.

Nathan has transferred his years of experience in customer service to the real estate industry where he thrives to provide each client with a seamless and memorable encounter. The words that define Nathan’s best are patience, dedication, and wisdom. As a father to 3 children, he has needed all in abundance.

Nathan is a person of impeccable character with a strong empirical bent who possesses an exceptional talent to write and speak precisely. He is someone who brings a fair measure of intelligence, empathy, and class to the real estate industry.

Stephanie Turner, Advisor

Stephanie’s family has been in the real estate industry for over 40 years owning a commercial and residential appraisal firm. The passion for real estate is in her blood. As a second generation real estate agent, her business is centered around client relationships, with a work ethic providing the highest level of service. For Stephanie, “making a difference” is the reason she’s in real estate . Her clients describe her as ambitious, energetic, insightful and dedicated. Stephanie’s background as a former college athlete brings her competitive edge to the negotiating table.

Kimberly Simms, Advisor

Fresh out of college, Kimberly landed a temporary job as a customer service representative at the Chicago Association of REALTORS and the rest was history. She uses her customer service experience to navigate the real estate industry and create a tailor-made experience for each client. Her clientele is composed of a strong referral network of repeat clients and first-time homebuyers. She is passionate about working with young investors looking to become property owners and create generational wealth. It is important to her that every client is informed and feel that she put their best interest first at all times.

Kimberly was raised between the city and south suburbs of Chicago, which provides her with a widespread view of various neighborhoods and a broad scope of the real estate market.  Kimberly is a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a resident on the south side of Chicago.

Hermilo has been married to his amazing wife, Veronica, since June 2000, and is father to his daughter, attending the University of Illinois and his son, a high school sophomore at St. Ignatius College Prep.
